Clos Saint-Michel, Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2021

Clos Saint Michel is situated in the village of Sorgues on the road to Chateauneuf du Pape. The estate has been in the hands of the Mousset family for 60 years and the business today is run by Franck Mousset alongside his brother, Olivier, both 4th generation wine makers. Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2021 is a blend of 30% Grenache Blanc, 30% Clairette, 20% Roussanne and 20% Bourboulenc. A delicate straw-yellow in colour. Exotic scents of acacia and wild mint jostle with honey, beeswax and vanilla. On the palate, subtle yet rich with concentrated tropical fruit flavours backed up with hints of green herbs. 'Waxy' in texture with a lengthy finish.
